ASPARi

The 2019 asphalt paving season has started and the first PQi measurements were held with TWW in Hengelo. One asphalt team was involved in this project that has working experience with Vogele RoadScan system. During the project three layers of roadway (base, bind and surface) and one layer bicycle lane have been paved and compacted.

ASPARi researchers Afshin Jamshidi and Denis Makarov have participated in the project, collecting GPS locations of construction machine movements, asphalt temperature data during construction including data about asphalt mixture cooling process that further will be used in ASPARiCool project.
